Fun Times!
As alot of you know, my sister Molly is working her way to the Olympics. She has been iceskating for quite some time now.
Last weekend my parents had the privilege of having Oksana Baiul (Former Olympic gold medalist) and her coach Valentin Nikolayev and another skater Jenny (sorry didnt get her last name!) from Poland for dinner.
It was a fun evening. The guys were outside shooting skeet and the girls inside getting lots of pictures and talking with Oksana about everything!
Molly is training with Valentin in Nebraska this week with the possiblity of long term training!

That's so cool. I saw her from a distance a couple times at the Joe and then here in G'ville. I started skating when I was 3, but had to stop when I was 10 because I had major surgery. It was for the best, though. I don't think you're allowed to be a 5'10" figure skater.
Yeah it was pretty cool! I know she is just a person but it was kind of neat to interact with some "famous". Ha Ha
WOW! What a great opportunity! When I grow up, can I be Molly?? :) You two look soooooo much alike in the face - I never saw it so much before, but the two pics lined up like that really show the similarities! Both beautiful little cuties! :)
