I caught a fish this big...

This weekend we went up to Pentwater to get a little R&R. Craig and Alicia (Liz's sister) have a house (cabin) a few blocks from the beach. It's a really great place to rest and enjoy the slow pace of life.

One of the days the girls, Liz, Alicia, Abby and Sabrina decided to go shopping in a near by town called Ludington. So the boyz and Isabelle thought it would be fun to go fishing. Craig thought it would be good to go to one of his favorite stores, the Dollar Store, and buy two bamboo fishing poles for a whopping $2. Nice deal! Next we bought some night crawlers and viola we're off to fishing. The only problem was it was 11am, and if you're a fisherman or know anything about fishing you know that the best time to fish is sunrise or sunset. So I made sure the kids were well prepared for the worst and that they probably wouldn't catch anything because it was so late in the day.

Well, I was wrong and glad to be. Isabelle caught the first fish and then Zach. We just kept pulling fish in for a total of 11 fish (one of those being mine) in about two hours. I'd say that was successful. It was really fun just to have the kids catch fish, they had tons of fun.
