The Southern Elwart's...

This week I was in Greensboro, NC for a GM Pilot and was able to visit the http://scelwarts.blogspot.com/ family (Scott and Susan). The plan was to stop by the JD South office first and then go out to eat with the family.

I arrived Wednesday evening and Scott gave me the five cent tour introducing me to some of his co-workers. JD South seems like a really fun and interesting place to work. It’s nice to see Scott in action managing people, yelling at them (JK), I thought he was just a “grease monkey” ;)

After the tour, Scott took me home to pick up Susan and their children to go out to eat. While waiting for Scott to pretty up, Lauren showed off her brains by picking up a stack President flash cards. She breezed through the stack; I tried tricking her by picking a President from the middle of the stack. She’s a smart one, smarter than me (I guess that’s not saying much), and very cute.

Ryan was teething so I didn’t get to know him all that well, not that anyone can know a one year old well.

Dinner was great and all-in-all the trip was worth the extra six hours round trip. Here are some pictures of Lauren and Ryan playing with toys.
